Suggestive Selling Script Book & Check Average Uplift Tracker: Server Upselling Scripts, Attach Rate Tracker and Check Average Uplift Calculator for Restaurants
Full description
For restaurant managers, food and beverage trainers and supervisors who want servers to offer the right item at the right moment, and want proof that it pays. The Word script book holds 19 selling standards and 36 scripts in six groups: starters, sides, desserts, beverages, wine and add-ons. Each script is a hook, a detail line and a closing line that offers a choice of two, with a pairing and a note on when not to use it. The main workbook logs covers, net sales, offers and items sold for each server and shift, compares check average before and after training, subtracts the uplift of untrained servers, and turns the result into incremental sales, gross profit and payback. The companion workbook runs a contest on one shift.

FAQ
How is the uplift calculated?
Post check average minus baseline check average, as a share of the baseline. Untrained servers act as a control group, and their uplift is subtracted so a season effect does not count as selling.
Can I change the scripts?
Yes. The 36 scripts are editable on Script Library, and the word limit on Settings flags scripts that are too long.
What does the contest sheet do?
It tallies one shift for up to 12 servers, awards points per item and a bonus for the target check average, and ranks qualified servers.
How many shifts can I enter?
The sample has 368 rows and 60 spare rows. Insert rows above the last row and copy the formulas down; the named ranges stretch with the rows.
Do I need macros?
No. Every result is a standard worksheet formula.
