Zebib
I wrote this song as a tribute to the incredible resilience I see every day in my work. It follows Zebib and young Dina as they leave behind a world defined by "fear and wire," searching for peace under the quiet, grey skies of a new country.
Through my time as a support worker, I’ve seen firsthand the heavy weight these families carry—the pain of goodbyes and the sheer strength it takes just to survive. I wanted to capture those small, beautiful turning points: the moment a cold house finally starts to feel like a home, or when a stranger steps up and becomes a "Pappa." This song is for Zebib, Dina, and anyone else who has ever had to start over and build a life from the ground up.
