Walk in Boston # 14, the touristic Waterfront

This self-guided walk takes you to 3 very different places in the city center. Shopping, contemplation and strolling are on the program.

You will sometimes be along the sea, sometimes on the city's Greenway, sometimes in the Financial District; you'll see the ship that started the American Revolution and have the opportunity to go back and forth to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, a collection of old merchant halls that were part of the harbor when it reached there. They have retained their primary function since they now house shopping malls and countless restaurants. 

This walk is one of the 4 essential ones that will allow you to discover the city if you are a newcomer.
