THE ASSESSMENT OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY AS AGRICULTURAL INFORMATION SOURCE AMONG COWPEA FARMERS IN HAWUL LGA OF BORNO STATE.

This research project focuses on the assessment of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as an agricultural information source among cowpea farmers in Hawul Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State, Nigeria. The study aims to explore the adoption and utilization of ICT among cowpea farmers, identify the challenges and barriers hindering its adoption, and examine its impact on agricultural productivity and farmers' livelihoods. The following objectives are to determine the level of access of ICT among cowpea farmers; to determine the sources of agricultural information for cowpea farmers; to assess ICT as an agricultural information source among cowpea farmers; o determine the factors that influence the use of ICT as an agricultural information source among cowpea farmers in Hawul LGA.
