Summer is my favourite time of year. Well I say that until we get to Autumn, then it changes again when we have the first snow and again when the first flowers appear in Spring! But I do love Summer. 

I love the warmth of the sun, not needing a coat, the amount of time we spend outside and all the adventures that the summer holidays bring.

This lesson plan is a little different to most of my lessons as it is mostly visualisation with just one breathing technique. Simply explain the breathing technique to your children and then read through the story which will guide them through lots of things to imagine. The great thing about this lesson is you can do it absolutely anywhere, even on a coach on the way to a school trip, to calm your class.

All my lesson plans are created for people with no prior knowledge of relaxation and mindfulness techniques and carefully go through every technique step by step. They also include a fun script for you to read through which incorporates all the techniques learned into an enjoyable, relaxing story which is completely age appropriate.

My lessons now all come with a child and teacher assessment sheet which is fully editable and enables you to show evidence for the progress and learning for each child.

This lesson is most suitable for 4-11 year olds.
