"Orchard Opposite Caseberry" - Panorama

At the Southern end of Bradninch and opposite the start of the climb up Back Lane, there is a gateway to stunning panoramic views, spanning from Ashclyst Forest across to the Exe Valley. This panoramic scene focuses on the section from the peak at Killerton and the valley, towards Ellerhayes and Rewe further in the distance.

This orchard is the centrepiece. It always catches my eye as I pass it opposite Caseberry. I preview some of the bountiful detail it provides in the image above from the ‘oversized’ JPEG download. I like how all the trees are almost duplicated by their shadows cast on the ground in front, resulting from shooting into the sun.

Black and white (with a slight touch of blue in the shadows) seemed to suit the contrast between the layers of silvery skies, hazy hills, and darker trees. This will look stunning as an artistic centrepiece on any wall. I recommend placing within a black or white frame, with a white mount of at least 5cm padding.
