“Purple Hayes” - Panorama
Here’s another view of the sunset across the valley, from the top of the farm road from Hele, and looking South West toward the direction of Ellerhayes (see also ‘Sunset Over Ellerhayes’).
I shot this as the sun shone through the branches, creating a silhouette effect and a stunning haloed lens flare effect. Meanwhile, the sheep happily graze, blissfully unaware of how the sun’s rays outline their backs. I’ve given the scene a purple haze (my favourite colour) in Lightroom.
