“Cullompton and St Andrew’s, from Bagmore Hill”
One of the many stunning scenes observed from an unassuming farm gate on Bagmore Hill is this view out to Cullompton. On this part-sunny, part-cloudy day, in this instant St Andrew’s Church is among the Cullompton buildings swathed in light. In the distance are the hills around Blackborough and Dunkeswell. To the left is the small hamlet of Colebrook.
I amended some of the lighting in editing, to enhance the feel of Autumn, while also accentuating the depth felt in this zoomed-in image. There’s just so much to look at in this photo; I include a preview above of the details around the church.
If you’d prefer a ready-to-hang quality print of this image, you can order this view of Cullompton here.
Tech Specs: Shot on Canon 6D @ 105mm, ISO 250, f/13, 1/160 sec. Enhanced in Lightroom. JPEG download only.
