“Back Street”
The back streets of Bradninch offer up quintessentially English architecture, with much character and history. The cobbled and narrow Back Street is a perfect example, a shortcut from Beacon Hill to Ye Olde White Lion traditional pub.
The contrast of Victorian brickwork on one side, to rendered white cottages on the other, made this a perfect candidate for a black and white photo. Added sepia effect captures the vintage of the era portrayed, giving the nostalgia of enviously simpler times.
