I love stars and grading colors – so I combined them in one pattern which can be used in many different ways. You can turn this block into a pillow or a table topper – or make more of them for a runner or an entire quilt. Just let your creativity take its course!
The pattern comes in six sizes (10", 12“, 14“, 16“, 18“ and 20“, unfinished at 10.5", 12.5“, 14.5“, 16.5“, 18.5“ and 20.5“), with a coloring sheet and a bunch of design examples. The individual sections are clearly labeled and have a ¼“ seam allowance. There are no curves or y-seams. The pattern comes as PDF files in A4 & US Letter paper format.
This pattern is an intermediate foundation paper piecing (FPP) pattern that assumes basic knowledge of paper piecing. It does not include detailed FPP instructions or further instructions for turning it into e.g. a pillow or a quilt. You can find lots of free tutorials for the various FPP methods online. Approximate fabric requirements are given, however the exact amount of required fabric depends on your method and coloring choice.
