Developing the Transitions
DEVELOPING THE TRANSITIONS
This lesson will help you to improve the quality and accuracy of your transitions in walk, trot and canter. It's aimed at Prelim/Novice level and includes working on the inner track and centre-line, to help you build up the straightness of your horse. The lesson includes some stretching on a long rein, which is found in many dressage tests.
Your trainer for this lesson is Kim Ratcliffe, a British Dressage trainer and List 1 Dressage Judge.
This session is 16 minutes and 05 seconds in length, and is designed to be listened to whilst you are riding your horse. You should ensure that you and your horse are warmed up before starting this lesson. Lessons are optimised for use in a 20m x 40m arena. A pdf lesson diagram is also included.
