BASIC WARM-UP
This lesson is a comprehensive warm-up session for riders at Prelim/Novice level. It will warm up both you and your horse thoroughly in walk, trot and canter, allowing you to follow this session with one of Sound Schooling's main audio lessons, or to continue with your own schooling exercises. The lesson will focus on your position, improving your horse's responsiveness, practicing bend and flexion, and some basic schooling patterns such as serpentines and shallow loops.
Your trainer for this lesson is Kim Ratcliffe, a British Dressage trainer and List 1 Dressage Judge.
This session is 23 mins 49 seconds in length, and is designed to be listened to whilst you are riding your horse. Lessons are optimised for use in a 20m x 40m arena. A pdf lesson diagram is also included.
