ASSESSING KNOWLEDGE, PRACTICE AND FACTORS INFLUENCING BIRTH PREPAREDNESS AND COMPLICATION READINESS AMONG COUPLES IN BENIN CITY

This study was done to assess knowledge, practice, and factors influencing birth preparedness and complication readiness among couples in selected communities in Oji River. Specifically, the study aims to assess knowledge of birth preparedness and complication readiness among couples; to assess the practice of birth preparedness and complication readiness among couples; to ascertain the level of male and community involvement in relation to birth preparedness and complication readiness; to identify the factors influencing birth preparedness and complication readiness among couples in Benin City. A descriptive cross-sectional study design was utilized in this study involving the use of pretested quantitative and qualitative tools for data collection. This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, List of abbreviations, Chapters One to Five (from introduction to conclusion), and references. This research consists of 99 pages.
