Inspired by parquet floors, Parquetry is both cosy and practical. Choose soft solid colours for a gentle, classic pattern, or mix a neutral with a self-striping yarn for a huge statement.

Yarn: fingering, 115-244 yards (105-205 metres)

Needles: 2.5mm, 2mm

Sizing: Four adult sizes, +custom

Techniques: cast on (long tail); bind off (JSSBO, standard); knitting in the round; stranded colourwork; picking up stitches
