+++This is a measure and cut pattern which means that there are NO TEMPLATES to print off and match up- Yay! You need a rotary cutter, ruler and mat and you can cut the pattern pieces straight from the fabric. This is easier than it sounds because the pieces are all simple squares and rectangles.

When you buy this pattern, you have my permission to make this bag to sell- no mass production allowed of course but a few to sell at craft fairs or online, that sort of thing is fine. All I ask is that you credit me as the designer. I wish you all the success in the world with sales!

All measurements are in INCHES.

This is one tough little tote! And simple to make too. The Albany is made from classic canvas and has webbing straps with rivets. Perfect for heavier projects or simply stuffing full of whatever you need to carry. I love its simplicity which can be changed up by using different fabric or adding labels.

The Albany is a great place to start your bag making journey and you can change the look so easily simply by changing fabrics. Because there is not much exterior detail, it is great for a busier fabric- imagine a fussy cut hero fabric just for the pocket!

Pattern Rating: confident beginner to intermediate: some skills assumed. If you have some good sewing skills (zipper installation for example) but are new to bag making, this is a great place to start.
