FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE SUBSTANCE ABUSE AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

The objective of this study was to investigate the factors influencing the occurrence of substance abuse among secondary school students in St. Charles High School, Osogbo, Osun State. A descriptive non-experimental method was adopted in which a multi-staged random sampling was used to select participants. Data was computer-analyzed using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) 23.0 version. Data was further presented in tables and charts and further analyzed using descriptive statistics and chi square (x2) test with 0.05 level of significance. This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, list of abbreviations, Chapters One to Five (from introduction to conclusion), and references.
