IMPACT OF INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS ON ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT IN MATHEMATICS IN PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOLS
The purpose of this research project is to determine the impact of instructional materials on academic achievement in among selected Primary Schools in Ilorin Metropolis, Kwara State.The study adopted experimental design involving pretest, posttest of treatment and control groups. Achievement Test in mathematics were used as an instrument of data collection, 392 children and 8 teachers of mathematics in the selected Primary Schools in Ilorin Metropolis, Kwara State. The data collected was analyzed using mean-test, standard deviation for the research questions and ANCOVA for the hypothesis analysis. The validity and content validity is faced. The reliability is tested to be 1.0 using Karl Pearson Correlation. This research consists of a title page, approval page, certification, abstract, table of contents, list of abbreviations, Chapters One to Five (from introduction to conclusion), references, and appendices.
