Our Sessions

Kids Classes

We teach kids from ages 4+, focusing on fitness, confidence, self defence, and of course lots of fun!


Our kids syllabus is structured into a 4 year road to black belt program.


The first year focuses on the basics of boxing and kickboxing, with movement, offence and defence.


We aim for our first year to set the foundation for what the kids will learn going into the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. Here they will be introduced into other styles such as Jeet Kune Do and Kali as well as more advanced kickboxing.

Kali

Kali is a Filipino Martial Art also known by the names of Arnis and Eskrima. It is often seen as a weapons based art. but Kali is a complete system and also looks at empty hand as well as stick and knife among other forms of weaponry.


Over time, Kali can become an effective martial art for self defence, as well as cognitive development, co-ordination and knowledge of culture in the Phillipines.


Our instructors are Associate Instructors in Kali under the Minnesota Kali Group led by Guro Rick Faye and our head coach Dan has trained under some of the most well known Kali masters including Guro Dan Inosanto - Bruce Lee's best friend and training partner.

Jeet Kune Do

Jeet Kune Do is the `Way of the Intercepting Fist` and is a hybrid martial art conceived and studied by Bruce Lee.


It is aimed to be a complete system comprising of elements from Kickboxing, Wing Chun, Grappling and Weaponry among other systems.


Our head coach Dan is fortunate to have trained under Guro Dan Inosanto who was Bruce Lee's training partner and the man who Bruce trusted to keep the JKD legacy alive. Dan has also trained with other fantastic JKD experts such as Guro Bob Breen, Guro Rick Faye and Guro Rick Young.

Kickboxing/Boxing

Our Kickboxing coach David `Titch` Marshall has over 40 years experience in the martial arts. He has had over 43 professional Kickboxing/Muay Thai fights, winning 41 of them, 28 by K.O! He now coaches our students every Thursday night in fitness and Kickboxing.

Fitness

All our sessions have an element of fitness to get you sweating and feeling awesome after every session. Our classes work on muscular and cardiovascular endurance, and over time and with regular training, you'll feel fitter and healthier, lose weight and feel more energised.

Private Sessions

We also offer private sessions for those not wanting to come to our group sessions. Get in touch with us if you'd like to find out about 1-1 sessions to improve your fitness or skill levels.
