Digitally painted in October 2018 in an ink style during a drawing challenge, I wasn't quite happy with how it looked, so a few years later I decided to do a re-draw.

The re-worked Wyandotte chicken in a style reminiscent of paper-piecing using halftone shading. Since I already had the greyscale as a separate layer, I started playing around with gradient maps and the Funky Chickens were born.
