Digital Products
McMouse Publishing sells digital ebooks, primarily in EPUB format.
Because our ebooks are digital products that may be delivered or made available immediately after purchase, we do not generally offer refunds, returns or exchanges simply because you change your mind after the ebook has been supplied or accessed.
Please review the book description, format, price and other product information carefully before completing your purchase.
This change-of-mind policy does not affect any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances and the laws applicable to your purchase, you may be entitled to a remedy if an ebook:
- has a fault;
- does not meet applicable quality requirements;
- does not match its description;
- is not fit for a disclosed purpose where an applicable consumer guarantee or requirement applies; or
- otherwise fails to meet a mandatory consumer protection requirement.
The remedy available will depend on the nature and circumstances of the problem and any rights available to you under applicable law.
Problems With Your Ebook
If you experience a technical problem with an ebook you purchased, please contact us before purchasing another copy.
Examples may include:
- a corrupted or damaged EPUB file;
- receiving the wrong ebook;
- being unable to access a purchased ebook because of a problem with the file or our delivery process;
- missing or seriously defective content; or
- another problem with the Digital Product supplied to you.
Where appropriate, we may attempt to resolve the issue by providing a corrected or replacement file.
Where applicable consumer protection law gives you the right to a refund, replacement or another remedy, we will provide the remedy required by that law.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory rights or remedies that apply to your purchase.
Duplicate Purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same ebook more than once, please contact us as soon as possible.
Provide the order details for both transactions so we can verify the duplicate purchase and determine the appropriate resolution.
Accidental Purchases
Please review your cart carefully before completing checkout.
We do not generally provide change-of-mind refunds for an ebook that has already been supplied merely because you selected the wrong title or no longer want the book.
However, you are welcome to contact us if you make an accidental purchase. We will review the circumstances of the order, including whether the ebook has already been supplied or accessed, and any rights you may have under applicable law.
Device Compatibility
McMouse Publishing ebooks are primarily supplied in EPUB format unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Before purchasing, please make sure your device or reading application supports the stated ebook format.
We do not generally provide change-of-mind refunds solely because a customer's preferred device or third-party reading application does not support EPUB where the format was clearly disclosed before purchase.
This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Approved Refunds
Where a refund is required or approved, it will generally be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time taken for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
Any refund required by applicable law will be provided in accordance with those requirements.
