Stop Complaining And Appreciate How Lucky You Are Every Day
Self-improvement takes time. Lots of it. Perhaps you’re not the person you want to be yet; don’t be disheartened by that. Instead, realize you’re not the person you were yesterday. Appreciate this. We’re truly mini-evolving every single day. If some people aren’t happy where they are in their lives, all they have to do is look back and see how far they’ve come. Growth takes time. And it’s never too late to change. Just remember this: 365 days is a ridiculously enough amount of time to change the rest of your life.
So many people around the world would do anything for a life that you have, so start living it to the fullest. You don’t have the life you do because you held yourself back. You have the life you do because so many positive forces benefited you. Luck always seems to come to those availing themselves of life in the present, so focus on all the wonderful friends, hobbies, and materials you have now and remember why you wanted them in the first place. The more you appreciate the positivity in your life, the more positive your life becomes.

Embrace Loneliness And Reinvent Yourself In The Process
Minimalism changes people's lives because it allows them to focus on the most important things, but just enough to make our lives better. It helps us focus on people and experiences, both of which are much more fulfilling than any kind of possessions. You can find joy in small things by seeking beauty in life.
We live in loneliness. One of our most essential purposes—longing and thinking—is loneliness. When this purpose is fulfilled, minimalism is complete. It gives an unusual freedom to get to know one another, but it's a terrifying loneliness. It's fun to spend time alone with yourself for the first time, with time to develop a whole other self. When faced with the greatest wonders of life, it's another love to enjoy everything that makes you, you. It's not great to feel loneliness, though it is natural and essential despite the fear. It is essential to reinvent and grow ourselves independently of others, but it's our job to create a new life for ourselves.
Say Goodbye To The People That Don’t Bring Positive Energy Into Your Life
You are the sum of the people you spend the most time with. In one year, you become the true average of the 12 people you interact with the most. If you’re surrounded by negative people, there is an overwhelming chance that you will be as well. You have to say goodbye to the people that don’t bring positive energy into your life and work on meaningful, deep relationships. By the second year, you realize that you are only confused by the person who makes it difficult for you to behave in a positive way. Living without that person and moving forward is more pleasant than arguing about something you have a different point of view on. The longer you hesitate to leave, the longer it will take for you to say hello to the next chapter. When you become clear on what you want, then and only then will you be ready to say hello to the next chapter in your life.
Throw Off The TV And Set Internet Controls
It’s amazing how much of our lives we spend consuming things that don’t really matter. The constant stream of entertainment can become a trap. While watching TV and scrolling through social media might feel like a way to unwind, it often leaves us feeling empty, wasting valuable time that could be used to build the life we truly want. One of the most impactful changes you can make is to take control of how you spend your time online and what you allow into your mind.
Every hour spent mindlessly browsing or binge-watching could be an hour spent developing a new skill, connecting with loved ones, or simply resting your mind in silence. Set limits on your screen time and be more intentional about what you watch or read. Instead of zoning out in front of a screen, pick up a book, take a walk, or take a hot bath. The less time you waste on things that don’t contribute to your growth, the more time you have for the things that truly matter. Don't completely cut off entertainment, but you need to find balance and be mindful of how you engage with it.
Pick One Skill You Want To Cultivate And Put All Your Effort Into Developing It
Have you ever read or listened to the stories of any person at the top of their game? It feels as if they were overnight successes or had life handed to them on a silver platter. Most of the time we slight their stories. We forget many of them spent most of their lives learning everything about that industry and sacrificed everything in order to become the very best. People notice their work. Then all of a sudden, all these opportunities start floating to the surface. People feel as if they are blessed, but in reality, this person spent most of their life developing that one skill. They outworked, outlearned, and outperformed everyone in that business. They took over that niche. When someone thinks of that particular niche, the first name that should come to mind is them. Everyone else is secondary. That’s the magic of having that one really remarkable skill. It sets aside anyone who would like to pursue that same vocation. There is the top performer and then everyone else. And here's a simple list of the skills you can learn, pick one and go all in: Sales, Digital Marketing, Financial Literacy, Business Development, Programming, Data Analysis, Project Management, Dropshipping, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Graphic Design, Negotiation, Time Management, Emotional Intelligence, Content Creation, E-commerce, Real Estate Investing, Problem-Solving, Leadership, Market Research, Social Media Management, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Photography, Video Editing, Web Development, Brand Building, Trading....
Commit To The Goals You Set And Never Look Back
Do what you need to do to achieve those goals. Achieving something does not happen by osmosis. You need to develop all different pathways in your brain associated with achieving that goal. You need to work for it. If your goal makes you feel uncomfortable and like you don’t want to pursue it because it’s "not who you are," then you are on the right path. It’s about becoming who you need to be to achieve the goal. Who are you currently with the set values you have? If you want a new career for yourself and have set out goals for that new career, then who do you need to become to make those goals a reality? It’s going to take a person with more skills, more awareness, and more courage to achieve those goals, a person with a new mindset (check my ebook here if you want to change the way you think), a new you. The worst thing you can do for yourself is to set goals and never achieve them or achieve them and still don’t feel you have the happiness or success from achieving them. Those beautiful dreams can die through negative feedback or through feeling that they’ll make you unhappy. You’re afraid to go outside of your comfort zone and focused purely on what makes you happy that you give up on your dreams. Do what is strategically right, and not what feels good. Your goals are your focus for what you are committed to and working at to achieve. If your goals won’t increase your level of happiness and success, why are we worried about what will make you happy? What will bring you success?
Sweat Every Day To Boost Your Mood
It's something to point out that the understated rule of living a long life is movement. A good approach to find out how many years someone has left is the sit-rise test. The easier it is to stand up and sit without using your hands, the more time you have left. If you need a hand to get up, you don't have much time. Balance and train important muscles every day; do lots of activities and sweat every day. Furthermore, our bodies are built in a way that when we sweat, feel-good hormones are released. It feels like a reward for physical activity. It's basically a free antidepressant. No matter who you are or what level of means you find yourself in, we all have access to free "medication" that will improve our mood.
Fail Forward. Learn From Every Mistake You Make
It will change your life in the best way. You will know what works and what doesn’t, who is really productive or who is just talking and counting on false hopes. Plan your dream with courage, resilience, and pure execution. Fail forward. Learn from each mistake you make. Get up one more time than you’ve fallen. Failures are not lynchings of an event or process. You don’t have to allow past hurts or bad decisions to keep you stuck. You have an idea. You choose to pursue the dream. No one has done what you are doing, so the big question of how to get there is yours to answer. The goal is always the same: forward momentum. The dream is still possible; the resources just expand. So do mistakes. You will navigate the unknown, trip over unexpected challenges, and hopefully — eventually — soar to the otherwise impossible finish line of your success. Your journey will be stressful. Painful. Arrhythmic. As unpredictable as it is uncontrollable. As it is lonely, but you won’t die. When faced with the unfamiliar and uncertain, prioritize your resources — such as mental energy and time — around the controllable elements of every new experience. Your growing strength will be forged on an anvil of attempts and failures. Misses and late nights. Prioritizing your responsibilities. Embracing confrontation over that little voice inside telling you to withdraw. You will suppress the fear of the unknown future by focusing on the process, circumstances, and character. That’s what will soothe worry around the ladder of success. Keep your eye on the purpose. Because, in the pursuit, you find out what’s possible versus what you can just dream of.
You and I are making it. By next year you and I could make it. This is what happens in one year when you get busy, when you work hard, when you practice everything. Now if you succeed to practice what I've just presented here, if you act, your life will not reconstitute itself as failure. In a year you won't be as you are now, the same bored cliche, the bored brain cells with nothing new for your brain to do. Continued, sustained successes, and continued actions during that one year, will produce extraordinary, magical results in your life. Follow me and you win the game.
