If You’ve Been Looking at My Unit Studies… Here’s a Little Note From Me

Hello everyone!

I noticed that many of you have been browsing my Unit Studies on my Etsy and Payhip shops (and the Penguin Unit Study seems to be the big favorite!).

I would love to know what would help you feel more confident about buying one.

So here are a few words from the homeschooling mom behind these resources:

I personally use the Unit Studies I sell with my own children (6.5 and 10 years old). These printable homeschool unit studies are not just something I create to sell — they are part of our everyday learning at home.

My eldest is autistic (without intellectual disability) and has ADHD. He is currently going through a difficult phase with self-management. He struggles with a lot of OCD traits, and the hardest part for him is being aware of his condition, which makes him even more anxious.

Why am I sharing this?

Because the Unit Studies I create allow him to continue learning in a calm and structured way, without too much stimulation - just enough to stay curious and engaged without being overwhelmed by too much information.

I know many families are looking for gentle learning resources, autism-friendly homeschool resources, or ADHD-friendly learning activities. That is exactly what I try to create: a simple and peaceful way to explore a topic through vocabulary, observation, reading, and printable educational activities.

In France, families who are authorized to homeschool are assessed every year by the National Education system. They make sure children are receiving structured learning and that they are making progress year after year.

These Unit Studies help my son move forward little by little, and they have been approved during our yearly inspection. This is very important to me, because it means these resources support real learning, not just fun activities.

The topics I create are chosen by my children. Many of my Unit Studies are wildlife-themed, because nature is something that truly fascinates them right now. The latest one is about ferrets - and the children absolutely loved it!

I also just filmed how I bind the pages of the Penguin Unit Study. I’ll try to upload the video to my YouTube channel before the weekend.

Thank you so much for reading, for visiting my shop, and for supporting my work 🧡

And if you are looking for a wildlife unit study, a nature study printable, or a calm homeschool printable PDF for curious kids, I truly hope my Unit Studies can help your family too.
