About Lisa Hales
Hi, I’m Lisa — Rider Biomechanics Trainer, Level 3 Pilates Instructor and Level 3 Yoga Instructor with over 20 years of experience in the equestrian world across eventing, dressage, show jumping and racing.
My passion is simple — I believe that when a rider moves well, their horse moves well. The connection between rider and horse is the most beautiful thing in equestrian sport, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping riders of all levels unlock that partnership through better body awareness, strength and mobility.
Whether you’re a weekend hacker who wants to feel more secure and confident in the saddle, or a competitive rider looking to refine your position and performance, I understand the challenges you face — because I’ve faced them myself. Riding is a lifelong journey and I want to help you enjoy every step of it.
I work with riders from complete beginners all the way to those on the Olympic and Paralympic pathway, and I believe every single rider deserves to feel strong, balanced and connected on their horse.
My approach is practical, specific and grounded in real biomechanics. I’m trained with Equipilates™, a member of the Independent Pilates Teachers Association (IPTA) and the Intrinsic Biomechanics Association (IBA).
