Hello lovelies!
There’s something so comforting about hot cocoa in winter—the steam rising, the first sip warming your hands and heart. These 3-ingredient hot cocoa bombs feel a little magical, but they’re surprisingly simple to make. Perfect for gifting, snow days, or slow evenings by the tree. 🤍🎄
No fancy tools. No stress. Just chocolate, cocoa, and marshmallows.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet work beautifully)
- 6 tablespoons hot cocoa mix
- Mini marshmallows
That’s it. Truly.
How to Make Them:
- Melt the chocolate
- Gently melt the chocolate chips until smooth, using a microwave or double boiler. Stir slowly and patiently—this part sets the tone.
- Create the shells
- Spoon melted chocolate into silicone sphere molds, coating the sides evenly. Place in the freezer for 5–7 minutes, just until firm.
- Fill with cocoa magic
- Remove the molds and carefully pop out half of the chocolate shells. Add hot cocoa mix and a small handful of marshmallows to each one.
- Seal them closed
- Warm a plate slightly and gently melt the rim of the empty chocolate halves. Press them onto the filled halves to seal.
- Decorate (optional, but sweet)
- Drizzle with extra chocolate or sprinkle with crushed candy cane if you’re feeling festive.
To Serve
Place one cocoa bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it. Watch it melt, open, and bloom with marshmallows—then stir and enjoy slowly. 🤍
