About Us

To address the TRC's 94 Calls to Action and the human rights violations in Residential Schools across Canada Jessica and Brianna worked collaboratively to reconcile how to decolonize and Indigenize lessons for the classroom. Jessica is Tsimshian and Haida and brings a first-hand understanding of the impacts and effects of residential schools through the generations of her family. Brianna is of settler background who continues her own journey of decolonization and reconciliation through her pedagogical practices and work with her students.
