If there’s one thing my Labrador, Max, loves more than belly rubs and long walks, it’s homemade treats straight from the oven. 🐶🍪 I still remember the first time I made these banana & oatmeal dog biscuits—Max sat in the kitchen, nose twitching, tail wagging, waiting for them to cool. The moment I gave him a taste, his eyes lit up, and he immediately begged for more.
That’s when I knew: homemade dog treats aren’t just healthier—they make our dogs happier, too! ❤️
Why I Switched to Homemade Treats
Like many pet parents, I used to buy store-bought treats, thinking they were “healthy.” But after learning about all the preservatives, artificial flavors, and hidden fillers in commercial dog snacks, I knew I had to make a change. I wanted Max to enjoy treats that were nutritious, delicious, and made with love—so I started baking my own!
This banana & oatmeal dog biscuit recipe is one of Max’s all-time favorites. It’s packed with natural goodness, easy to make, and best of all—no weird ingredients! Just wholesome, dog-friendly yumminess.
