If you’ve ever lived with a dog who claims to have a “sensitive stomach,” you know the drill: one suspicious kibble and suddenly you’re Googling “homemade dog food for sensitive stomachs” at 2 a.m., wondering how your canine garbage disposal became a delicate little prince.
Trust me — I’ve been there. And so has my Labrador Max… the dog who once ate half a cardboard box but apparently can’t handle certain store-bought kibbles.
That’s when I rolled up my sleeves, marched into my kitchen, and accidentally created the recipe Max now treats like Michelin-star cuisine: Homemade Rabbit & Green Bean Sensitive Stomach Kibble.
Welcome to my culinary chaos.
How My Kitchen Became a Labrador-Approved Test Kitchen
Max and I have been on quite the journey. One week he digests everything like a champ. The next week? One wrong ingredient and he acts like the world is ending. So instead of continuing the sensitive-stomach circus, I decided to experiment with healthy homemade dog kibble — something gentle, clean, and easy to digest.
And because Max believes he’s the Gordon Ramsay of dog food quality control, he supervised the entire process.
By “supervised,” I mean:
- He sat two inches behind me at all times.
- He sighed dramatically whenever I chopped too slowly.
- He taste-tested fallen ingredients before they hit the floor.
A true professional.

This batch makes around 780 kcal, about 12 kcal per piece — perfect for portion-controlled pups.
Max’s Official Review
When Max tried the final result, he gave me that look.
You know the one:
Ears up. Eyes sparkling. Tail wagging so hard it nearly knocks over the table.
If my dog could talk, he’d say:
“Finally. Quality cuisine. Took you long enough, human.”
