I’m Clare Madden, an English and history teacher from Cork with 15 years’ experience in the classroom. I’m the author of Touchstones, the Junior Cycle English textbook series published by Edco, and of the Junior Cycle short course My Brain and Me, which teaches students how learning works.

Everything on this site comes from my own classroom. These are resources I’ve made, used and refined with real students, built to save you time and help your students do well. I hope you find something here that makes your week a little easier.
