• Facilitator Guide (Word, about 37 A4 pages): programme design, participant selection, a day-by-day plan for 30 days, 6 case studies with answer keys, 6 role-plays, an assessment rubric and a guide to running the final panel.
• Participant Workbook (Word, about 47 A4 pages): a one-page set of exercises and reflection prompts for each of the 30 days, 7 templates (mini-P&L analysis, owner report draft, performance conversation plan, 90-day plan canvas, one-to-one record, capital case, incident plan), a progress log and the Sample Hotel data pack.

How it works

1. Pick a cohort of up to 8 participants and a sponsor for each. Use Part 2 of the guide to choose them.
2. On Day 1, each participant and sponsor rate the 40 competencies in the scorecard. Start the daily tracker.
3. Run one day at a time from the guide and deck. Participants complete the matching workbook page and save the evidence.
4. Review progress every Friday in the tracker. Use the case study or role-play on Day 5 of each module.
5. On Day 30, hold the final panel, re-rate the scorecard and agree the next 90 days.

FAQ

Do I need special software?

No. You need Word, PowerPoint and Excel or compatible apps. The scorecard and tracker use standard formulas.

Can I use the Excel files in Google Sheets?

You can import them. The formulas work, but the charts and some formatting may look different. Excel gives the intended layout.

Can I edit the materials?

Yes. All files are editable for your own use inside your organisation under the single-user license. You cannot resell or share them.

Who is it for?

General managers, HR and learning managers and owners who develop department heads. Heads of department can also use the workbook and trackers alone with a sponsor.

Does it use real hotel data?

No. Every case and exercise uses a fictional Sample Hotel. Participants can replace the figures with their own where their sponsor allows it.
