Walk in NYC # 18, the best of Flushing and Corona
This walk is quite long and can be done in two parts: first, Flushing with its own Chinatown, many unusual places of worship and a botanical garden before going back to your starting point if it’s enough for you and for one day; then Corona (with a different starting point if you have decided to do it in two parts) to reach the impressive remnants of the 1964 World Fair, see two museums, a zoo, and end in a Latino neighborhood.
In one case or another, you’ll be in Queens far from the beaten path and you’ll discover another NYC.
