Casual & Part-Time Labour Register with Payroll Calculator: Shift Pay with Overtime, Holiday and Night Rules, Pay-Run Holds, Outlet Labour Cost and a Timesheet Slip for Restaurant, Bar and Event Managers
Full description
For restaurant, bar, banquet and hotel managers, HR coordinators and payroll clerks who run a pool of casual and part-time staff. The main workbook holds a pool register with an hourly rate from your rate card, a register of shifts with scheduled and actual times, an advances log and an appraisals log. Each shift is split into regular, overtime, holiday and night hours; pay follows your settings and every shift is flagged: not in register, person not active, unsigned, overlapping, break missing or over schedule. Pay Period gives one row per person with gross pay, advances, deductions, the statutory deduction, net pay and a payment status of Ready or Hold. Outlet Cost compares casual pay with revenue, covers and budget hours against a cost range. The register also shows hours this month against a cap, incomplete files, idle people and appraisals due. The companion workbook prepares a timesheet and a printable payment slip for one person.

FAQ
How is overtime decided?
Paid hours above the daily threshold in a shift are overtime. The threshold and the multiple are on Settings.
How are holidays handled?
List the dates on Settings. All paid hours on those dates are paid at the holiday multiple and no overtime is added.
What puts a payment on hold?
A person who is not active, has unsigned shifts, has an incomplete file or has net pay below zero.
Can I add people, shifts or roles?
Yes. Pool Register has 10 spare rows, Shifts has 30 and the rate card has one spare role.
Do I need macros?
No. Every result is a standard worksheet formula.
