Conversation & Listening - The Influencer

The Influencer is an engaging, communication-rich lesson that gets students talking about social media, sharing opinions and listening to the story of a young woman who became an influencer. Along the way, they develop the language and confidence they need to tell stories, discuss ideas and communicate more naturally in English.

Rather than simply answering comprehension questions, students actively use the language. They build topic vocabulary, reconstruct a personal narrative, practise listening and pronunciation, debate the role of influencers, invent their own influencer stories and take part in an interview role play.
