AH-64D Longbow
The Army's heaviest division/corps assault helicopter is the AH-64 Apache. A millimeter wave fire control radar, a radar frequency interferometer, a fire-and-forget radar-guided HELLFIRE missile, and cockpit management and digitization improvements are all included in the AH-64D Longbow's remanufacturing endeavor. Increased situational awareness, lethality, and survivability are provided by the FCR, RFI, improved navigation, and avionics suite of the aircraft.
A four-bladed main rotor and a four-bladed tail rotor are features of the AH-64 Apache. The pilot is seated behind and above the copilot/gunner as the crew sits in tandem. Each member of the crew is capable of independently piloting the aircraft and engaging targets with weapons.
