Cuddles the Hexi Bear is a hexagon shaped log cabin design with curved edges. It's a fun and quick Jelly Roll project that can also be made from fabric scraps or old jeans. Use your adorable Hexi Bear as a rug in a nursery room, or as a wall hanging in your craft room, or even take it out on your picnic. This pattern is written using imperial system of units (US terms), including step-by-step images, quilting diagrams, and printable templates. You will need a printer and Adobe Acrobat Reader to be able to print the templates.

SIZE: Width 46” X Height 36”. Your finished size may vary slightly depending on the density of your quilting.

SKILLS: Sewing with a 1/4" seam allowance, log cabin piecing, using printable templates, cutting 60 degree shapes, quilting, bias binding for scalloped edges (tutorial is available).

• Fabric for muzzle - 4 Jelly Roll strips (2 1⁄2” X WOF)
• Fabric for nose - 1 strip (2 1⁄2” X 18”)
• Fabric for eyes - 1 strip (2 1⁄2” X 18”)
• Fabric for eye-highlights - Scrap of white fabric (2 1⁄2” X 5”)
• Backing fabric - 1 1⁄2 yards X WOF
• Bias binding fabric - 1⁄2 yard X WOF; Finished binding: 2 1⁄2” X150”
• Batting - 42” X 54” / crib size
