Released on 4 December 1964 “Beatles For Sale” sold 700,000 copies in the first week, it then spent 11 weeks at the top of the UK LP charts.
It was The Beatles first LP to feature a gatefold sleeve and because of time constraints to rush the album for release The Beatles reverted back to include a number of cover versions by other artists.
This poster depicts the album cover, the date released and the UK track listings.
