A warm and inclusive welcome to the 40th issue of the arts magazine Inspirational. This is a marker for the magazine, 40 issues from the first in October 2014 to the present. So far, 350 artists have become part of Inspirational - through features, interviews, and portfolios. A whole range of disciplines have been covered - from painting to filmmaking, from textiles to ceramics. Artists have been featured from across the planet - from Iran to Brazil, from Ireland to Japan. Inspirational has featured artists that have dealt with subjects ranging from gender identity to cultural traditions, from mental health issues to environmental concerns. Inspirational is proud to be an art magazine that is consistently inclusive, artists are never excluded for their gender, their non-gender, their sexuality, their age, geographical location, and so many other divisive aspects of the world we live in. Inspirational maintains its inclusivity over its 40 issues, and will continue to do so over the next 40.
In this 40th issue Inspirational continues its promotion of contemporary Indian artists, as well as work from Europe, and the Caribbean. To help celebrate this 40th issue and to underline Inspirationals continuing support of the working artist, our cover features the young artist Daniel Shippey. It is through coninued support and presentation of artists like Daniel, that creative art will continue.
