“Revolver” was released in the UK on 5 August 1966 and went to No.1 in the LP charts, it then remained in the charts for 34 weeks.

Recorded at Abbey Road, it was a big leap using the EMI studio’s music technology at the time, yet notably only “Eleanor Rigby” and “Yellow Submarine” were the only tracks available as a (double A-side) single in the UK.

The now famous album cover was designed by Klaus Voorman who was paid £50 for his work.

The first pressings of the album in MONO (distinguishable by having the stamped matrices in the run-out grooves as: XEX 605 - 2 (on side 1) and XEX 606 - 1 (on side 2), are very sought after by record collectors as they have an alternative version of the song ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’, often called ‘Remix 11’.

This poster depicts the album cover, the date released and the UK track listings.

Will look fantastic if framed, especially if printed at UK A3 / USA Tabloid or Ledger (but will resize to any).
