Das Mysterium von Golgatha
When the Master of Nazareth finally suffered the death he had always sought in his highest hours on the Roman gallows, he achieved incomparably greater things than what so many before and after him did who sacrificed the life of this earth for their conviction. —
The one who once died on Golgotha on the cross was the only one at that site who knew with all clarity what was happening, and only he alone was also able, through this love death, to throw open the bolts that closed the door to freedom for the spiritual man, since he, in the animal of this earth, had succumbed to this animal's drive and inclination in such a way that redemption from the animal's fate hardly seemed possible anymore. —
Only someone who "knows" could recognize that it is possible, through a human being's highest deed of love, to awaken a spiritual force in the realm of human power anew - to awaken it in such a way that it becomes tangible for everyone around whom the creeping growth of animal life instincts appears to be threateningly entwined , — that only one who had merged the animal with its spirit into a new being could pave the way for those who wanted to follow it. —
Admittedly: — this “knower” had to be a lover to an unheard-of extent in order to be able to accomplish the deed he saw, because many before him had the same knowledge and yet were not able to overcome the shudder at the deed, although they too were certainly not without love. — —
Thus, through Jesus of Nazareth, the way to the spirit was opened up for all who want to bring to life in themselves what his life was. —
The God in the animal had united in him the animal in that new being, which he used to call the “Son of man”, the “son” that the spirit man begets in the animal when he takes the animal by which he was bound conquered by revealing to him his power and beauty. —
The same thing happens in each of the “shining ones of the primeval light”, but none found in themselves the excess of love that would have led them to do the deed through which the Master of Nazareth awakened a power to new life, from time immemorial the wisest strived to attain it all their lives without being able to make it useful to others in the same way. —
It is not death as such that brings about the renewal of that power in the spiritual aura of the earth, nor was it brought about by the torture which preceded the Master's death.
The power of love alone could accomplish the miracle! — — —
That he, who suffered torture and death, could “forgive” mankind, forgiven to the last death rattle, that alone was his effective “deed of redemption”, for here the spirit man became according to spiritual law, wherever he was on earth lives and, conquered by the animal, gets entangled in guilt, freed from his dependency by love - as long as he only wants to take the hand that offers to help him, as long as he has become what the "flesh and blood" of the shining one had become , will take into himself, in order to unite the animal in himself with the spirit...
Only one to whom "the Father had given everything" could bring such "forgiveness" that encompasses all mankind!
Deep truth is concealed in the guise of myth when old tradition lets the master "descend" after his death on the cross to the souls of the just of the past, because the consequences of his deed are not linked to any time, is felt by those who have long been enraptured, like those who only be born after thousands of years. —
