Blushing Keepsakes
EVERY LIFE LEAVES A RECORD.
Composed. Timeless. Evocative.
Rose-toned. Wine-stained.
And yes, there's a crumpled up piece of paper
lying there so you remember this template...all too well.
DESCRIPTION:
This is an eight-page Google Doc template (Kaleidoscope's Version) designed to be used for a single muse. It's a little bit Americana, with its New York feeling. I built this on request for someone, so it was a bit of a treat to try an aesthetic I wouldn't have explored otherwise. I hope you'll like it too!
Complexity Level: I am truly addicted to using all of the little shapes offered by drawings, so I apologize for that. But that's really the only tricky thing!
Page Order: Cover, introduction, personality, appearance, details, characteristics*, and backstory x2.
*This page was put in for when she adapts this character to Marvel roleplays, so it's supposed to have information on her humanity and/or abilities. There's that statistics part (is it clear you are supposed to move the bar -- aka change the colors -- to show how good/bad they are at something?), but you can write essentially anything you want in the left column!
P.S. Also, I gave this template to the original requester with an additional page for her writing sample. I took it out because I didn't think people would want that. Do you though? I can add it back in if so!
TIPS ON MAKING IT YOUR OWN:
- For full editing capabilities, you will need to access this template on a computer. Templates are viewable on mobile if you toggle the "Print Layout" option (likely to be found in the top-right menu).
- Text, colors, and layout elements can be adjusted to fit your needs. Nonetheless, do not remove the linked emoji (page one) and credit links (page seven and eight) that direct to my Tumblr.
- The visuals have been added as Google "drawings". Editing drawings requires double-clicking them first and clicking on them once and then clicking the "Edit" button on the bar that appears underneath the drawing. Either of these actions will open the drawing editing window.
- Avoid copy-pasting images directly into the document, as this may disrupt the formatting. Always use the "Replace Image" function instead.
- Be mindful of text limits and the sizes of text boxes, as exceeding what is already in the template can disrupt the formatting.
- The "Backstory" page is formatted in a way that will allow you to use more pages without any formatting issues. The text will simply continue on in a two-column manner and push the last page back. You may also choose to add decorative foreground images to these pages, but that is up to your discretion. You'll just need to move/delete the one that is there already if your text goes over what I put in this master template.
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
- A PDF with a link to the template's Google Doc.
- This includes instructions on how to make your own copy and protect it properly.
- A PDF with usage instructions and troubleshooting support options.
NOTES:
- The faceclaim pictured here is none other than Taylor Swift, duh!
- The requester originally sent me her information in Hexed Docs' Juliette. This template was made without its layout influence, but that doesn't change the fact that the content is still from there because that's the information the requester wanted in her product. I did change around some things, do different terms, etc... but I'd still like to give that template a shoutout!
