Tsuno Kikko means "horned tortoiseshell": a kikko hexagon lattice with small flower-like horn stitches at each junction. The hexagon shape is traditionally associated with the tortoise shell, a symbol of longevity and protection, while the linked lattice gives the medallion a steady, geometric rhythm.
