Astor Piazzolla: „Fünf Tangos“ (Vle+Kb)

Diese „Tango Nuevo“ des bekannten Tango-Meisters Piazzolla beruhen auf der Bearbeitung für Cello und Kontrabass (s. d.). Durch die erweiterte Harmonik der Tango-Musik konnte bei der Bearbeitung für die Duo-Besetzung nicht auf Doppelgriffe in beiden Stimmen verzichtet werden. Das Mehr an Schwierigkeit wird jedoch belohnt durch den ganz eigenen romantischen Charme dieser Tango-Musik.

Die Fassung für Cello und Kontrabass ist auf der CD „himmelhoch jauchzend - zu tode betruebt“ eingespielt worden.

This "Tango Nuevo" by the famous tango master Piazzolla is based on the arrangement for cello and double bass (see above). Due to the extended harmonies of tango music, it was not possible to dispense with double stops in both parts in the arrangement for the duo instrumentation. However, the extra difficulty is rewarded by the very special romantic charm of this tango music.

The version for cello and double bass has been recorded on the CD "himmelhoch jauchzend - zu tode betruebt".
