ANALYZING THE FIRE SAFETY MANAGEMENT STRATEGY IN COMMERCIAL INSTITUTION (A CASE STUDY OF NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET LAFIA, NASARAWA STATE).

In most countries government relies on policies incorporated into laws, rules and procedures to control fires and managed them through the establishment of specialist organization, such as the Fire and Rescue Department. This indicates that traditionally, control structure relies heavily on bureaucracy. Ineffective fire safety management is one of the severe issues in public buildings, especially in Nigeria. This research work is aim at evaluating fire safety measures and management practices in selected neighnorhood market in Lafia, Nasarawa Sate Nigeria.
