This self-guided walk takes you to the northern tip of Manhattan and its heights. You will see amazing parks, diverse neighborhoods, the oldest house in Manhattan, two surprising terraces and two cloisters.
You will also take numerous stairs and can compare the imposing Washington Bridge to the old High Bridge.
NB: according to maps, Hudson Heights is part of Washington Heights or a separate neighborhood; this is the northwest part of this walk. Fort George is, in principle, on the northeast side but sometimes includes Hudson Heights!
