WORKING FROM BEHIND

This lesson is designed for Novice/Elementary level and will introduce some exercises to help the horse to work more through from behind. By stimulating the hindlegs to work more actively and engaging further underneath his body towards his centre of gravity, you can help your horse to develop correct forwards thrust in your training.

Your trainer for this lesson is Kim Ratcliffe, a British Dressage trainer and List 1 Dressage Judge.

This session is 16 minutes and 55 seconds in length, and is designed to be listened to whilst you are riding your horse. You should ensure that you and your horse are warmed up before starting this lesson. Lessons are optimised for use in a 20m x 40m arena.

Important for Safety: Only listen to Sound Schooling audio lessons in a safe, enclosed area, and to your horse's (and your own) level of fitness.
