Introducing the Trot Half-Pass
INTRODUCING THE TROT HALF-PASS
The half-pass is the most demanding of the lateral movements and its aim is to develop the suppleness in the quarters, improve the lateral bend and develop the responsiveness to the aids. This lesson focuses on some specific warm-up exercises at Elementary/Medium level that will develop the areas that need to be at their peak to produce a correct and accurate half-pass in trot.
Your trainer for this lesson is Kim Ratcliffe, a British Dressage trainer and List 1 Dressage Judge.
This session is 25 minutes and 11 seconds in length, and is designed to be listened to whilst you are riding your horse. You should ensure that you and your horse are warmed up before starting this lesson. Lessons are optimised for use in a 20m x 40m arena.
