An interactive AC40 polar diagram with a user friendly updatable dataset.

The initial dataset used was calculated with AI using the limited real data that is available from the AC40 class association.

The data is accurate to the AC Sailing in game polars in some instances, but inaccurate in other instances.

The diagram / database is designed to be a means of measuring AC Sailing player performance rather than a guide.

It can be used as a performance benchmarking tool by adjusted the dataset as needed.

Simply update the data with your own in game data (Wind Speed, TWA, Boat Speed) and the more accurate the dataset will become.

You can then share your updated database with other players with a CSV file.
