Structured Interview Question Bank for Hospitality Positions: Behavioural and Situational Interview Questions with Scoring Anchors and Candidate Comparison
Full description
For hospitality managers and HR leads who hire service, host and cashier, kitchen, banquet, room service and supervisor staff and want interviews that can be compared. The bank holds 240 behavioural, situational and technical questions, 40 for each position family, mapped to ten competencies. Each question has an anchor for a strong, adequate and weak answer, and a follow-up probe. Two interviewers score each candidate from 1 to 5, and the workbook weights the competencies by position, finds the lowest competency, flags score gaps and returns Recommend, Hold, Decline or Incomplete, with decision timing and a hiring funnel. The Word guide gives the method, an interview plan, fair-question rules, a reference script and print-ready forms.

FAQ
How many questions are included?
240 questions: 40 for each of 6 position families, with 91 behavioural, 100 situational and 49 technical.
What are the score anchors?
Each question describes what a strong (5), adequate (3) and weak (1) answer sounds like. Scores 2 and 4 sit between them.
How is the result worked out?
It averages the two interviewers for each competency, applies the family weights and compares the total with the hire and hold thresholds, with a minimum score for any competency.
Can I add my own questions and positions?
Yes. There are 20 spare question rows and 12 spare candidate rows, and the weights on Settings can be changed for each family.
Do I need macros?
No. Every result is a standard worksheet formula.
