Science Fiction - Lessons in Digital Literacy

This lesson combines engaging discussion tasks with reading, research and the development of AI literacies.

In the lesson students find out about some of the most influential science fiction writing. They also share their opinions of science fiction, create the plot for a science fiction novel and co-write a story with an AI chatbot. They also do research into aliens and alien abduction.

Aims:

• To enable students to share their views on science fiction stories
• To enable students to create a story with an AI co-writer
• To enable student to do online research
