By Vanessa Mbeve is an independent creative brand built around original poetry and visual work. Created by Australian writer Vanessa Mbeve, whose work has appeared in Australian publications and aired on radio, the brand brings together an evolving body of original work under one name.

At its heart is a simple idea: creative work should be accessible.

Digital by design

The main collection is entirely digital. There is no shipping, no waiting for something to arrive, and no geographical limit on who can access the work.

Each piece can be downloaded and enjoyed in the way that suits you: displayed digitally, printed at home, framed, kept, gifted for personal use or simply saved as part of your own collection. The aim isn't to dictate how a piece should exist once it reaches you.

The collection

The collection currently exists in two forms:

Visuals

Original digital visual works created for downloading, displaying and printing.

Poetry

Original written pieces available digitally and designed to be displayed and revisited. The collection will continue to evolve alongside the work itself.

Physical commissions

While the core collection is digital, selected physical works are available by commission. Physical commissions are created individually rather than mass-produced, allowing each piece to be made for a particular person, space or purpose.

Creative freedom, with ownership

Purchases are intended to give customers considerable freedom for personal use — including downloading, printing, displaying and personal gifting — while copyright and ownership of the original work remain with Vanessa Mbeve.
