Vanessa Mbeve (born 1998) is an Australian writer and creative whose work spans nonfiction, fiction and radio. Her writing often draws from personal experience to explore identity, disability, work, relationships and independence through the ordinary realities of everyday life. Alongside her published writing, Mbeve has worked across community radio and audio fiction, including creating and producing an original radio drama. Her work is characterised by a curiosity about people, the lives they build and the sometimes complicated relationship between who we are and how the world sees us.
